Kahu Pet Services, LLC, established in Georgetown, Texas in 2024 by Ashleigh Lane, is a limited liability company. It is co-owned by Ashleigh and her husband Jimmy Lane and is dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets of all kinds, be they furry, feathered, or scaly.

Jimmy Lane is a retired disabled Navy veteran with pride in his service (Fly Navy!). Hailing from upstate New York and later Florida, he settled into a fulfilling manufacturing engineering 2nd career in the Austin area. After his 2nd career, Jimmy followed his passion for pet care. His hobbies are diverse, including spin and fly fishing, traveling, golfing, diving, snorkeling, volunteering at animal rescues, and gardening.

Ashleigh Lane, who is Jimmy's partner and is a retired military spouse, brings vast experience in legal and contract management to Kahu. Raised on a ranch as a seventh-generation Floridian, she has always lived among animals and cannot imagine a life without them. Her hobbies include traveling to beaches or mountains, fly fishing, horseback riding, volunteering at animal rescues, diving, snorkeling, and losing herself in a good book.

Kahu provides a range of services such as dog walking, pet sitting for domestic and farm animals, litter box cleaning, exciting adventure day trips, and reliable local pet transport.

Our committed team offers pet care services across Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and nearby areas in Texas.

Kahu is fully insured and bonded through the Business Insurers of the Carolinas. Our team members undergo thorough federal background checks through ACUTRAQ and possess CPS-DW and CPS-DS Certifications from PetSitter, in addition to Pet First Aid Certification from the American Red Cross.

We are proud to have been recognized as the 2024 Neighborhood Favorite on Nextdoor and are active members of both Pet Sitters International and the Austin Pet Sitters Organization. Our trademark is currently in the registration process, underscoring our dedication to quality and professionalism.
